The Prehistoric Empire.
Was Australia once home to a now lost empire?
The investigations of the Australia’s Stonehenge site by myself and others has found it is a central feature of a series of built stone and mound complexes. These structures extend for many kilometres, following traditional Song-line paths.

The idea that the Australia Stonehenge, which I rediscovered in 2013, is a place that the ancient Egyptians came to seek knowledge from was proposed in the 1930s. Here is a photo of the Pyramids of Giza on top of a photo that I took, near the site, of the largest hills of Mullumbimby. Perhaps these hills inspired what was later made in Egypt.
Continued study and overwhelming facts may lead to the conclusion that what has been rediscovered is not just evidence that the Aboriginal People practiced farming and shaped the land but they once erected and ruled over a sacred city. It explains why Byron Bay, whose traditional name means meeting place, may have been a destination of ancient civilisations.
An empire is defined by the land it conquers but what if the whole world comes to it to worship and learn? Did an empire once exist here in Australia? One so unique and old that all that remains are whispers from the wise, worn stones, and mounds fading back into the landscape and legends from old, Atlantis, Mu, Aztlan, El Dorado, Lemuria and the sky gods of the Dreaming.

Here is a metallic statuette, consisting of two intertwined figures. Of unknown origin and purpose, it was found near the site of the stones. I was given permission to hold and photograph it. during the October 2013 Smoking Ceremony held by Sovereign Elders to cleanse the site.

Indigenous Elders tell me of the pillars of energy that rise from the site.
Here, Hancock marvels at one of its miraculous manifestations, a fully formed and living eucalypt that grows from a dead fallen tree trunk.
The wise and influential are coming from around the world to learn of it, again, as they perhaps did thousands of years in the past.
